GOVERNMENT HOUSE,

I regret to have to inform Your Lordship
of the death of Mr. N. G. Nolan, the Chief Interpreter in the
Supreme Court in this Colony, which took place at the Govern- -ment Civil Hospital on the 23rd January from tumour of the
brain.
2.
Mr. Nolan leaves a widow and eight
children who are at present in this Colony. For this reason it
was not considered necessary to inform you by telegraph.
3.
Mrs. Nolan is proceeding to the United Kingdom with her family and the Crown Agents are being inform-
-ad as to the Widows and Orphans' pension to which she is
entitled.
